Great article just recently I’ve had a heart attach and was asked to join a study on cholesterol, when l said l wasn’t on any statins they really started to put pressure on me as to why . I explained they give me leg and foot cramps as well as caused fatigue and then they said they have a new injectable type of statin that l should try. I am now convinced l will not be joining their study.

Thank you guys.

All my life I have eaten a high-fat, high-cholesterol diet. I grew up with real butter, and as a child I would put so much on a slice of toast that my mom would tell me I was using too much. "But Mommy, I LIKE IT!" would be my reply, and she would leave me be.

In 1976, I read the book, SUGAR BLUES, and cut way back on refined sugar.

In the mid-1980s, I had an annual physical, and had blood work done. The following year at my next physical, the nurse pulled out my chart and opened it. She said, "Oh My!" I asked, "What's wrong?" She said, "It's your cholesterol." I asked, "What's wrong with my cholesterol?" She stated, "Nothing - It's ideal! This is what we want people to have, but nobody ever gets there."

In all the years since, my cholesterol levels have been excellent, as I have continued to eat a balanced, high-fat, high-cholesterol diet low in refined carbohydrates, with a wide variety of fresh meat and fruit and vegetables.

Lastly, about ten years ago I learned about Vitamin K2, which directs calcium out of the arteries and into the bones and teeth - preventing hardening of the arteries and building strong bones and teeth. The best source of Vitamin K2 is butter from grass-fed cows. In my 70s, I still have excellent teeth, for which I am very grateful.
