It's truly unfortunate that most health insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid will only pay the costs associated with western medicine.
A person would probably need loans, or another full time salary to cover the costs of alternative medicines and treatment. I'm not otherwise knocking that type of treatment, and am a firm believer in it. I certainly understand the concept of getting what you pay for. And treating symptoms without investigating and resolving the causes is akin to quack medicine. Theres no doubt on this end that its usually best to follow the advice, or to get treatment from a FM type doctor if you want to heal. And to end in a better place than where you started.
