Big Pharma and Big Ag bear at least 75% of the responsibility for the horrible health situation in our country because the overwhelming majority of their products are nothing more than poison in another form. The other 25% is due to the poor lifestyle followed by all too many of our citizens. It is high time to fix this situation and restore good health to our population.
One big problem is how are we supposed to pay for all the healthy food we need. Garbage food is way less expensive and it shouldn’t be. We didn’t have as many people who were overweight in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. It did climb with each decade, but nothing like it is now. Even having a two income household doesn’t make up for the cost of healthy food. Healthy food is fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat that’s filled with steroids. Those steroids are causing little girls to go right into a teenagers body. I’m not sure how it’s effecting boy, but I’m sure it’s not good at all.
Then we wonder why Big Pharma has stepped in and started making medicine for this and that and making money hand over fist.
Also, the Covid vaccine disaster with millions of injuries and deaths. We can’t say that it was Biden who caused the Covid outbreak to reach. our country. Dump was in office when it hit. First cases reported in December here. No one can say he didn’t know and if he had won we still would have had the Covid vaccine killing and maiming our citizens.

This is how you pay for the healthy food you need: revise your budget to eliminate all junk food, sugar foods, sodas. Also look for ways in your budget to eliminate all unnecessary spending: restaurants, entertainment, travel. Raising a healthy family is worth these sacrifices. People better wake up and take responsibility for their own health.
Just one problem we have seniors who can’t even afford junk food. They are having to choose between medicine or food. I don’t have anything on your list in my house and I don’t go out to eat anywhere. Pasta is cheap, maybe a little bit of cheap hamburger meat, and some ketchup. That could or might be a meal for a senior citizen and if it’s just for one they might get at least three meals out of it. A can of tuna maybe for the whole day.
When I was in highschool (1977) seniors came in all the time and bought cat food. They would wait until it was on sale too. Now how horrible is that? I can’t imagine what it’s like now and I pray that it never comes to that for me. Mark my words it’s going to happen to many people before this 4 years is over and then who knows if we will be headed for repairs or bracing for more damage.
I have said in another comment on this thread I think about what else we can do together in our communities to help save money and share with our neighbors. That will serve as a dual purpose. One a better tighter community connection and Two a cut down in crime. Neighbors don’t tend to steal from people they know and live. If it’s a teen that’s stealing their parents will believe you more than their teen. Not always! By knowing who lives next door or across the street and their house is being broken into it usually ends everyone knows each other and watches out for every other. Thank you! I didn’t followed the food pyramid as it was. Apparently I have been following the new food pyramid for years. When I pulled white carbs and refined sugars from my diet I lost weight, A1C dropped substantially and so did my blood pressure adding daily exercise. Seems logical to me, I guess the government preferred us to be less healthy prior, go figure. Some people are just lazy and stubborn. Now I’m a healthy person just using common sense which I believe the newer food pyramid uses. Organic is important, want to keep out the poisons too! I don’t disagree, but it’s too expensive for the average American person. If we could get together and having community gardens, children coops just to name a few things we can do but don’t. Here’s another thing that would help. Elderly people who don’t use a whole bag of vegetables could get together with other elderly people in their communities and split the cost of groceries. Organic food IS medicine - it's more nutrient-dense than junk food, so you feel satisfied with less.

I don’t disagree, but it’s too expensive for the average American person. If we could get together and having community gardens, children coops just to name a few things we can do but don’t. Here’s another thing that would help. Elderly people who don’t use a whole bag of vegetables could get together with other elderly people in their communities and split the cost of groceries. Not only helps but will help create closer knit communities and it would bring down crime too. I’ll just let everyone to think why my last statement will reduce crime.
